Rock Around The Block began heavily promoting the use of CCA Treated Pine Round Logs, Winged Splits, Half Logs, Slabs and Sleepers, for cost effective engineered long term retaining wall systems, into Sydney in 1986. We are proud of the feedback from our vast range of Contractor and DIY customers for our service and reputation, so when we moved our pond, watergarden and lighting business online in April 2006, we sought the most qualified, local experienced landscape supplies retailer possible to take on the treated pine business. The site now includes masonry blocks and pavers, sand, soil and cement.

With their large comprehensive stocked range of round log posts up to 200mm diameter and 3.6m long, winged splits, half logs, slabs and sleepers, we are able cater for cantilever retaining walls up to 1.8m high. Slabs can also be used to build crib retaining walls in situations where you cannot dig a hole for posts as you need to for a cantilever retaining wall.

Logs Galore can provide assistance in helping with design and construction guidance and, if required, can offer reputable contractors to construct the wall.

All products are CCA H4 level Treated Radiata Pine as defined by AS1604. This grade of treated pine is suitable for in-ground contact in the Temperate climate experienced in Sydney. The round log derived products carry a 50 year treatment warranty (conditions apply) against termite attack and fungal decay.

Treated round products are from the highly credible Penrose Pine Products treated with Osmose® Lifewood CCA. Osmose® is "now the world's leading manufacturer and supplier of timber preservatives".

Treated pine sleepers are manufactured by Blayney Treated Pine and are treated with Tanalith® CCA. Logs Galore believe they are the best quality sleepers on the market.
