Let’s face it, no matter how careful we are, sometimes we end up with nasty pond odour. Whilst most of the time they are bearable, it could get out of hands when it’s starts to smell like rotten eggs and what not!

You’ll be surprised to know that winter is the ideal time to prune Roses. Roses can be pruned twice a year. Once in summer and then in winter. Usually summer pruning is easy, just a few centimetres below the flower, you prune them, which is called dead heading. Pruning in winter is a different story altogether.
