Anti-kink or not? Anti-kink means kink resistant, not kink-proof. Hand layering over a fence post will induce a probable rotational twist with every layer in any hose. Most garden hose pipes or hose reels sold in major hardware stores and in online stores in Australia are stiff in use and use braided, criss-cross or diagonal reinforcing pattern. True anti-kink hose uses the more expensive knitted pattern reinforcing which reduces torsional twisting.
